Green-screen productions, like those for the Thor series, are, in Christian Bale’s words,“the definition of monotony.”
In the visual effects-heavy 2022 film Thor: Love and Thunder, opposite Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, Bale portrays the antagonist Gorr.
The actor was questioned about whether or not he believes green-screen acting is for him in a recent interview with GQ.
“I mean, the definition of it is monotony,” he said.
Adding “Can you differentiate one day from the next? No. Absolutely not. You have no idea what to do. I couldnt even differentiate one stage from the next.
